Soprano

ABOUT LINNEA

Linnea Miner Mott, soprano, recently took the Utah State University stage in Benjamin Britten’s The Rape of Lucretia (“Surprisingly the best voice on stage belongs to Linnea Miner Mott in the role of Lucia…”). The Utah Valley University alumna (B. M., Classical Vocal Performance) has also appeared as Musetta (La Bohème), Olympia (Offenbach’s Le contes d’Hoffmann), Eurydice (Orphée aux enfers), and Cecily (The Importance of Being Earnest). Concurrent with her performing career and the active music studio she maintains in Providence, Utah, she pursues a Master’s degree in vocal performance at Utah State University, studying under Thomas Glenn.

Linnea is a fabulous singer and teacher. After simply one 45 minute lesson, I had learned more about singing than I had in all my 6 years of choir experience. My technique improved by leaps and bounds after literally ONE lesson. She's amazing. Just book with her. You will not regret it!
