ABOUT LINNEA

Linnea Miner Mott, soprano, is a graduate student in vocal performance at Utah State University, where she studies with Thomas Glenn and Jamilyn Manning. She has recently appeared on the Utah State University stage in Benjamin Britten’s The Rape of Lucretia and will sing the Queen of the Night in Mozart’s The Magic Flute with Lyrical Opera Theater, as well as Blondchen in Die Entführung aus dem Serail with Utah State University Opera in the current season. A Utah Valley University alumna (B.M., Classical Vocal Performance), her operatic credits include, but are not limited to, Musetta (La Bohème), Olympia (Les contes d’Hoffmann), and Eurydice (Orphée aux enfers). In addition to performing, she maintains an active private voice studio in Providence, Utah.

Linnea is a fabulous singer and teacher. After simply one 45 minute lesson, I had learned more about singing than I had in all my 6 years of choir experience. My technique improved by leaps and bounds after literally ONE lesson. She's amazing. Just book with her. You will not regret it!
