Ravel's "L'Enfant et les sortilèges" & Act 3 of Dvořàk's "Rusalka" featured USU voice students, accompanied by Dr. Dallas Aksoy on piano

Dvořák’s Rusalka, inspired by The Little Mermaid, tells the tragic story of a water nymph who sacrifices everything for love with a human prince, leading to a heartbreaking conclusion. USU Opera performed act 3 of this work, with Linnea playing the role of the first Wood Sprite.

Ravel’s L’Enfant et les Sortilèges is a whimsical one-act opera about a mischievous child who faces magical consequences for his disobedience. Linnea played many roles in the chorus of this production.

Performed in Czech and French with English subtitles, this semi-staged production featured USU voice students, accompanied by Dallas Aksoy on piano.
